The HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle includes the hotside intercooler tube, stock turbo inlet horn, Billet thermostat housing kit, coldside tube, HSP replacement up-pipes, coolant tank, and cold air intake. Tell us about the hot side intercooler tube in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The hotside intercooler pipe inside the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle is one of the parts that changed the most from its factory counterpart. The first major change of the hotside intercooler tube in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle was the size, we went to a 3” diameter pipe that has flow rates that are up to 40% greater than stock. We also went to mandrel bends that are sweeping. What this means is that the air can flow through the pipe easier and creates less turbulence. All of this together creates the ability to make more power and have a better working charge air system. HSP Diesel also uses a straight style connection at the intercooler this removes a failure point that is common on the stock system.
Tell us about the stock turbo inlet horn in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The stock turbo inlet horn that comes with the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle is also a piece that HSP Diesel is very proud of. This part has been bumped up to 3.5” in diameter and has a much cleaner look to it. This part is only made to be used with the stock turbo but the difference it can make in that stock turbo is drastic. With the larger size, we are able to remove that chokepoint that comes from the factory on these trucks. Giving you the ability to make more power with the stock turbo.
Tell us about the Billet thermostat housing kit in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The Billet thermostat housing kit is inside the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle is more than just for looks. To start the Billet thermostat housing kit eliminates the coolant hose that crosses over the driver’s side valve cover. The reason that happening is important is that that hose is not only in the way all the time but it is also an eyesore when it comes to these engine bays. The Billet thermostat also gives you room for high-pressure fuel pump changes you may want to make.
Tell us about the coldside tube in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The cold side tube in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle is a large difference from the factory parts. To begin we went to a 3” diameter tube to give us the biggest pipe we could fit and the most air we could fit inside that pipe. We then created the smoothest bends we could to just like the hot side tube reduce turbulence and increase flow. What this does is creates a much more free-flowing charge air system that can keep things much cooler than the factory pipes. The reason this is important is that the cooler the air is the denser it becomes. So if we can keep the air cool the amount of air we are able to have inside that pipe becomes much larger and in turn, this creates the ability to make more power.
Tell us about the 2 inch HSP replacement up-pipes in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The 2 inch HSP Diesel replacement up-pipes are so far ahead of stock you won’t believe it. To start our up-pipes are made from heavy wall 304 stainless steel tubing. This means they are made to take abuse and heat cycles, these uppipes will last much longer than the factory style. This is also because we use heavy-duty sleeved bellows, as many of us know the bellows are the most common failure point in the factory up pipes and this takes care of that. All of this is inside our design of the up-pipes but not only will they last longer but they also flow better due to all of these changes and our hand fit assembly.
Tell us about the Factory Replacement coolant tank in the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle
The factory coolant tank in the Duramax trucks is not only not pleasing to look at but often fails due to cracks and wear/tear. This is why HSP Diesel took to the drawing board using an all-metal design that can be powder-coated and looks so much better than the factory. The other thing that is different about the HSP Diesel-designed replacement tank is that it won’t crack like the plastic factory one. This gives you everything you could want in the factory replacement. The replacement coolant tank also comes with all the provisions and fittings that it would need from the factory so this CNC cut piece can go to work as soon as it arrives.

The cold air intake on the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle is the piece that ties the whole kit together. With everything working so hard to allow better flowing air and better looks we need something that will allow for everything to grab that air. The HSP Diesel cold air intake does exactly that. With a 4 ½” mandrel-bent tubing this intake has been proven to increase up to 20 horsepower and 58 pounds of torque on average. When combined with the rest of the HSP Diesel Deluxe Max Air Flow Bundle the difference that you will feel and see in your truck will be mind-blowing.
