The 207/220-110 camshaft is designed for high-performance Cummins builds that need strong power through the upper RPM range. It performs best from approximately 2,000 to 4,800 RPM and should be installed on a 99 - 101 Degree intake centerline. This cam is an excellent choice for engines equipped with cylinder heads that continue to flow efficiently at higher valve lift.
It is best suited for combinations with increased compression, high-flow cylinder heads, larger turbochargers, and supporting fuel-system upgrades. For automatic-transmission applications, a 2,500 RPM or higher stall converter is recommended. The ideal stall speed may vary depending on turbocharger size, injection timing, vehicle weight, and overall engine setup.
Upgraded valve springs and pushrods are required. This is an aggressive performance camshaft intended for properly built engines with adequate piston clearance and supporting modifications.
