Power Driven Diesel offers this factory replacement Steel 5-Pinion Front Planet for 1994-2003 47RH 47RE. Early 47RH and 47RE transmissions came from the factory with aluminum front planets—the weaker aluminum material allows the front splines to strip out, causing a loss of forward gears. A steel front planet is highly recommended for any performance transmission build.
